B580 seems to be a 4060 with more VRAM, but raw performance is weaker than a 3060Ti, so no significant impact on the market:

It is difficult to expect anyone to commit to Arc with the impending launch of Nvidia 5000 and AMD 8000 series and its driver limitations. They would have sold decently 6 months back but Intel manages to screw up their launch every time.

Yes, a few months earlier would have helped with Black Friday sales. I have no expectation from Nvidia to bring a decent budget GPU but their GPUs will sell, just see the number of 4060 & 4060Tis that were sold to gamers, both of them were overpriced GPUs & IMO anyone buying these for gaming didn't do their research. But AMD will have to respond, or else their marketshare is at risk.

Hi, guys. I saw the news about the Intel Arc battlemage cards and they seem to be great. But the last gen Intel GPU were also claimed to be amazing and ended up a total disappointment.
Do you guys think this gen will be better than last gen or will it be the same?
Also I would love to hear about the Alchemist gpu's from someone who bought it. How was the initial experience and how much has it improved?
Are Intel Gpus worth investing in?

Folks have been already pouring their thoughts here -

wait for some detailed reviews , interestingly the prev gen cards were great in encoding purposes .lets seee how it performs with Ai , encoding and gaming

Wonder if nvidia and amd will come up with av1 decode and encode in their next budget and mid lineups.
Also, only intel seem to have hardware acceleration on some video formats for video editing.

Wasn't supply not so great for the alchemist cards over here? Also wondering what the prices will be in inr, seeing how vendors love charging extra here.

Intel probably telling the truth with this launch
at 1440p ultra 8gb vram of 4060 is a problem so B580 is 10% faster
and performance per dollar one
it is 30% faster at raster and ray tracing
but Amd has always been aggressive in pricing(except India)
they will bring 7600xt to b580 and 7600 to b570
Only a intel fanboy would buy their gpus then

4060 is already 25k
more like 27k from what I'm seeing in ecommerce websites but it could be cheaper yeah

yeah it's also the fact that they didn't exactly show 1080p benchmarks against the 4060 which worries me. Obviously the b580 wins at 1440p because of the larger vram but it's not exactly a 1440p card

If it is available in good looking cooler, perhaps even white if possible, I am gonna get the B580 if it is anywhere near good enough for 1440p in games I play.

there are third party vendors out there .i am pretty sure asrock is one of them .But definitely check which games you play they were abysmal in DX 9 and DX 11 .post launch they fixed the drivers but they dont have good support for old games

Waiting for reviews, prolly gonna be decent for new games and productivity, honestly depends on price.
legit, if they can match Nvidia when it comes to video editing and stuff at cheaper prices and lock in some good deals with pre-builts, they good.
