If you have run out of M.2 slots on your motherboard, but still want to add M.2 storage, this is for you. Up for sale is a PCIe adapter for NVMe drives. It comes with a solid heatsink and three thermal pads which can go on each side of the adapter to keep the drive cool. I used to use it with a Samsung 980 Pro and the temps never crossed 50 degrees, even while copying huge files. It was only used for about 6 months until I switched to a laptop, and has been sitting in storage since then.
I don't have the screw for keeping the SSD in place, but chances are you must have gotten the same with your motherboard. The standoff for the screw is present.
