News AMD's FSR4 was created in collaboration with Sony.

Has anyone got their hands on the new GPUs to test FSR 4? Seems like AMD has done it this time—some reviewers are saying it's even better than DLSS 3, which was already pretty solid. Also, any chance it comes to previous-gen AMD cards since they have some AI cores too? And for those who tried DLSS 4, how much better does it look over DLSS 3?

We're yet to see a 9000 series owner here.

DLSS4's new transformer model seems to be a good jump over DLSS3.

This seems like a very low effort post, like the ones generated by a bot; mention a headline and finish it with "what do you think", except that in this case the content doesn't even expand the title. I think the existing threads on both the Nvidia and AMD releases are enough as besides the price and performance, they also cover upscaling.

For the sake of this thread, will link to a relevant article.

Maybe it's low effort for you, but not for me. I asked my question to other people and thought mixing it with a news would attract the right users.
btw have a great day.

its great that they are leveraging each others capabilities
Yeah, it's really nice based on reviews. amd reached the level of DLSS 3 in one go, which NVIDIA took several years to achieve. I think they’ll make it even better after 1-2 years. anythoughts on NVIDIA's Multi-Frame Generation, if you've personally experienced it?

The absolutely minimum thing one can do when posting any kind of news is to link to a source. You can check some other threads to get an idea. When you say "some reviewers say", at least share those reviews.

The whole discussion on comparison between DLSS 3, DLSS 4, FSR 3.1 and FSR 4 is already covered by Digital Foundry which was also posted on another thread.

FSR4 uses FP8 Wave Matrix Multiply Accumulate which requires much more processing and hence the new hardware for RDNA4. AMD had kept the door open for RDNA3 in the future but the overhead will be a lot.

I wasn't trying to be news media. I was just interested in user experiences and what people personally thought on fsr4 . I've seen all those reviews, but I'd rather hear from actual users than what the media says. and you're right about linking sources, especially if I was sharing news. This is my first post, so I'll definitely pay more attention to that in the future. have a great day !!
