ya it is good, runs smoothly, but you have to pay for it. i'd rather not get a virus in the first place using my firewall and not have to worry much about anti-virus

Okay i'll look into those, thnx. I baught the $70 Norton 2006 version thing is the anti virus worked geat but the firewall kept getting screwed up and wouldn't let me acces the internet so i ended up just turning it off all the time. also norton takes a huge amount of RAM and seriusly slows...

i run and RTCW:ET server and everyone is always telling me "turn the grass off" or "kill the fog" so that they can get better FPS. Although content is what makes the game and keeps you playing it, its the gfx that make you love it. I tell the ppl on my server that i'm not destroying the beauty...

lol, i was acually speaking to a DELL tech guy who i know and he recommended to me not to get the physx card as that there where only 1 or 2 games that use it, it doesn't do that much yet, and its way to expensive and he thinks the price will drop to under $200 sometime around late august...

I don't know what that translates to in American Dollars as i live in US. And prices are dropping in general for computers, i don't know about RAM specific, but i think we can all agree prices for an overall computer have dropped.

If you read what i said, yo will see that DELL also now offers the Pentium Extreme Edition which i have with one core and i find it very good. With two cores i hope it could only get better.

well the days of having 512 ram in your computer are baiscly comming to an end. all the newer games are taking at least 512 to run at normal graphics so most people will already have 1G + of ram. for those who don't, prives are dropping so quickly i think it will be only a matter of time before...
