I would recommend the Sandisk for reliability. Have had trouble with Transcend before. The only problem with Sandisk is the U3 software which more often than not doesn't work (atleast for me) - so I just uninstall it on day 1!

I have the Back-UPS ES 500 VA and it has a USB data port. However, the model I have seems to be discontinued since I can't find it on the web site. The ES 500 VA on the web site seems to be a different version, going by the pics. Mine has three battery backup sockets and one surge protection socket.

I bought the A620 for my dad for ~21,000 with bill and warranty. You can get it in the grey market for 14-15K. Canon is now bundling a 256mb SD card and rechargeable batteries+charger with this model.

I use Opera 9 as my primary browser, and ff 1.5 for web sites that won't render properly on Opera. Why opera? One word - mouse gestures!

Canon Powershot A620 is another great camera in this range- should be under 15K in Singapore.

This is what I use as well. Have heard good things about EAC+lame combo so you might want to try that too.
