Hi guys I have a peculiar problem in the windows 2003 server.we have more than 150 users been created in it.Now all of sudden user acoounts getting locked out without any reason.Even admin password also gets locked.Kindly advise me the solution for this problem.

Windows xp pro I log on the same user .but i cannot decrypt the data.According to the User he has not applied any encrypt option.There is more than 10 files has affected like this

There is no read only option checked.But i could see check mark in encrypted option.I tried to remove that option but it saya access denied.

Hi friends i try to open an Excel file and it says "Excel can not access _____(filename)___.xls may be read only or encrypted" and an OK button if you click ok it pops up another message that says "Can not Access" If I shut down and reboot the computer I can get into the file again a time or two...

go to command prompt and select the drive which u r facing the problem (if u can)run the chkdsk /r comand in it.it will ask u to select it on next restart.allow the system to scan on next reboot.This could help u to rectify this

i disabled it from msconfig and delete all entry's in the regedit also.still same problem persist
