I tried Airtel and Vi, service providers dont bill 4g and 3g differently. Its only gonna switch to 3g during calls, back to 4g immediately after you end the call. Since Jio is my main sim I can't use this phone, was planning to switch from s22u to this but its not meant to be :(

LTE data still works and functions as normal if your phone supports LTE but not VoLTE. The difference is that your connection (including voice/texts/data) will drop to 3G when you make a phone call. This means that you will experience slower speeds and higher latency while a call is active...

No, its called voice over lte, basically phones without volte use 3g for calls and 4g for internet

4G works but VoLTE and VoWiFi doesn't, Tested on airtel and VI both calling and 4g data works but Jio wont work cuz it entirely depends on VoLTE for calling
