I contacted Bikey before posting here. Since his CPU is almost gone, i am searching for a combo here. Cant block the money buying mobo and RAM without CPU. So as i said, want both CPU and Mobo ( Incase i get both then i will plan for RAM) I cant get a combo before weekend, then it will be i5.

^^ Wouldnt count on 5 days. took 24 days for me and took more than a month for Shripad himself for one of the other HDs. So i guess it all depends on luck. Whatever the time is, the RMA will be done smoothly and time is the only frustration part

Ok good news is that they themselves called me. It has been outsourced to some RT Outsourcing Services limited in Langford Rd in Bangalore. Scheduled a time and they picked up the WD disk. Now for a long wait till i can receive the HD back

Well, the story begins with me buying a WD Caviar green 1.5TB disk from Theitwares. Unfortunately, the disk is DOA. Theitwares guy says he is not in mumbai, so wants me to contact WD. I went to their site, filed for RMA and now it looks like i will have to ship the drive. The packing information...
