I think they will postpone. With the current clout around 13th and 14th gen, its not the right set of conditions for arrow lake or lunar lake launch. Its better to wait till this settles
One of the biggest gripes with amd chips was single core performance. Most reviews of intel vs amd have that sentence always. So far without new optimised and tailored chipsets for zen 5 they are performing satisfactorily on that front, with unchanged multi core performance and that too at lower...
Pretty lackluster pricing on new range. They need to be realistic and adjust pricing. If they price it right, its high time they can overtake intel on the cpu end. They need to stop being asymptotic and step up to overtake intel. potential is there. their gpu battle is another story altogether.
If you use Apps like CamScanner or AdobeScan, they have built in filters to straighten and optimize documents for OCR. I think you can specify page size as well. If you have adobe acrobat then you can edit the created pdf's directly on PC. You can do your scribbling in Edit mode on Adobe PDF...
All they got to prove is that Google paid money to remove the "choice" from the user. If they can establish that other companies forced users to use Google search, AND did not have a clear option to switch to other search engines, that's damaging. If the choice is open and user can change it...
The scale is actually unimaginable. If intel is forced to recall two generations worth of chips, it will destroy the firm no matter how cash rich it is now. I notice AMD being silent on this issue and not exploiting it. Because as we push the limits of Silicon I think amd realizes that may be in...
I am trying to understand the huge price gap between 5700x3d and 5800x3d.
The 5700x3d is around 22-24k and 5800x3d is 32k+ everywhere. Both are AM4 and as per what I have red not a phenomenal performance difference.
In fact what baffles me is the negligible price difference between 5800x3d...
I just revived an old PS3 lying around. Looking for a bunch of used PS3 games for my kid. If anyone has surplus lying around at a reasonable price, I am interested. Nothing too expensive.
The point is to avoid existing drama. It's proven the intel chips are faulty. Ofcourse there are workarounds. Not always though. But why should a consumer pay for it if there are stable more performing alternatives around. True enthusiasts are not fanboys, wether it's intel or and. Performance...
I think amd just paying legacy costs. There was a time amd were bad compared to intel. They came around. With the x3d processors and other processors in that timeline amd surpassed Intel. It's just better engineering. Intel needs to catch up rather than play bs p core e core and microcoded...
Components I Have :

Corsair 750W PSU
ASUS 780TI DC23GDD

This is a 11 year old rig that I had abandoned over the years.
The graphics card has aged, and its...
At any rate unwise to invest in Intel right now. The AMD x3d processors are a much safer bet till this tides over. All indications point that the chips had a mfg defect and Intel is just trying workarounds to avoid a massive recall.
