Honestly, Just get the Edifier S350DB instead. Was going for ~ 23k a few days ago on Amazon. Might get it for cheaper in an upcoming sale. They're a good 2.1 system and an upgrade over the regular cookie-cutter Logitech Z623-esque speakers.

Wouldn’t call them trash. They just have different use cases. Also, The JBL’s are great for near field listening but don’t do so well at far-field listening (also, different inputs, volume control, etc). They are one of the best speakers for the price though, even compared to more expensive ones.
