Suggest closed headphones+mp3 player for 50k budget

The sony Z1000 are rubbish!! I wouldn't spend half the price. The DT1350 sound really bright if you don't get a proper seal and neither did I, nor did the people on head-fi cuz i've heard them complain about the lack of bass cause of the lack of seal cuz of the on-ear design. The HD25-1 II are...

Suggest closed headphones+mp3 player for 50k budget

Except for the M50 and the Hd25-1 II, none of the headphones mentioned are portable. Unamped the m50 sounds just about right with the sflo2. I don't think the iphone or any other phone or an ipod can drive it as good as the sflo2. Amped, they would sound much more fuller and precise. Same for...

Suggest closed headphones+mp3 player for 50k budget

The Dx100 is priced at 829$ iBasso Denon D5000 should be around 400-500$ add to that 100$ for the jmoney pads. To be honest I really like the Sflo2 -> Lo -> Fiio E17 -> Hd25-1 II as a portable rig. I have the Sflo2 tied with rubber bands with the E17 like a brick. The bass kicks a$.

Suggest closed headphones+mp3 player for 50k budget

iBasso dx100 + Denon D5000 + Jmoney pads. I find the ultrasone's too shrill sounding.

How is the SR71B compared to the protector and the mustang?

    Random IEM / Headphone Rants

The Fiio E17 is excellent vfm since its portable and lets you tune your bass and treble. Also its working great for me since the last 6months and hasn't crapped out yet. The build quality is pretty good. The sound quality is decent. Its clean. I think if you set your expectations right you might...

decide me a OEH & DAC

@Brendon has thread in the audio section giving comparisons between m50, sr225i, d5k and his hd650. I hope that would help.

    Random IEM / Headphone Rants

#esanthosh, you need to get rid of all the unwanted gear to make room for better/newer gear.

Audio Technica ATH-AD700 for 6k.is it a good deal?

For the budget you've mentioned, I suggest you should take a look at Denon D2000, AudioTechnica A900, Beyer Dt880 or even the HD25-1 II. All of the mentioned headphones are wired in nature. They all have their forte's and are the best at what they do. Taking into account that you will be...

decide me a OEH & DAC

Its one of my passions. Very soon the day will come when I will sell off everything and just keep one can and one iem and move to something else like speakers or something completely unrelated like building a custom bike. Hope you like whichever headphone you buy :) I haven't heard the Fischer...

decide me a OEH & DAC

M50 you can pick up from ebay or #pristinenote here at TE dealers section. The bass is really good for the price. With the E17 you can control the treble/bass and gain and it works pretty good. Sometimes i listen to deadmau5 on full bass from my E17 to my Senn hd25-1 II on high gain and still...

decide me a OEH & DAC

I think the E17 and the M50 makes for a deadly portable headphone setup. They're pretty comfortably, the sound is not really detailed but is plenty fun ;) Budget wise I think the m50 should be around 8k and same for the E17. FiiO E17 Alpen DAC & Headphone Amplifier + Free Brainwavz Beta + Free...

decide me a OEH & DAC

Get a AudioTechnica M50 and a Fiio E17. They should suit your taste of music. You'll get more than enough bass ;)

    Headphone suggestions for 8-10k

Personally I feel the good Denons start from the D2000 onwards. Comparing the M50 and the D1100, the D1100 have a smaller soundstage and are not as fun sounding as the M50. The mids on the D1100 just seem congested while the mids on the M50 seem more recessed in comparison, making the D1100...

    Headphone suggestions for 8-10k

I think the M50 is the best outta all the suggestions made above since i've owned them for a very long time and they are very comfy. I also feel Grado Sr225i and the AD700 are very good if your looking into open backed headphones which offer a wider soundstage and a more detailed sound. I have...

    Bluetooth Headphones within 1.5k

Hi #mobile_user, keeping in view that sound is a very personal thing, to me the HD201 sound muddy and they do not provide the kind of detailing I expect from headphones. I would rather wear an iem(like the jvc marshmellows) which is more comfortable on the head than a big heavy headphone which...

    Klipsch OR Bose mic-IEM : GALAXY s2 ??

I have a Galaxy s2 and the sound quality sux so bad that I don't use it at all with any of my IEMs. I recommend you buy a Sansa Clip and a Brainwavez M2 and keep your phone aside. The improvement in SQ is tremendous. But if you must buy an iem with a mic, the only decent option is to get a TF10...

    Bluetooth Headphones within 1.5k

In that price range I would recommend getting a wired headphone rather than a wireless ones when it comes to Sound quality alone. I'd recommend increasing your budget a lil bit more for a better headphones like the M35 or the T500 from AudioTechnica. The improvement in SQ is totally worth the...
