What I meant to say is that "The speeds over WiFi will be lesser than that you see on Gig Ethernet". This is because WiFi communication is half duplex only.

I am using Banana Pro and am getting the same speeds from a WD 1 TB Blue connected via SATA over wired Gig Ethernet. Your speeds will be slower on WiFi but much better than what you get with a RPi.

Swans D1080MKIV will be a decent choice in your budget. www.hifinage.com is the source in india. It is an active bookshelf speaker. There was a detailed user review in one of the tech forums, please search for it. Another option is the Circle Arko 80/100W, but availability is an issue.
