i just called navkar it from ebay.. They said they'll have the kit in stock within 3 to 4 days.. so should i wait for the kit or should i just go ahead with these 2 separate modules?
Okay.. So basically, I have the ASUS P8P67 PRO and i5 2500k. If i buy 2 of the 4gb sticks separately they will work in dual channel for sure..? because i have read about cases where they dont.
Hey,
I finally bought the Asus P8P67 Pro and i5 2500k... got the bundle for 25k. I'm looking around for a 8GB 1600 dual channel kit(4GB*2). xms3 or ripjaws or hyperx. anything. not being able to find this anywhere. could anyone help me with this?
Gannu, i asked SMC about
They replied saying it was out of stock and they would only provide normal Ripjaw series.. So i was thinking of getting the 2*2gb 1600mhz ripjaws for 2,500/-..
Did you ask them about the Ripjaws X being in stock?
try out some difference RAM sticks from your friend's rig on your board.. it could be that the board might be defective.. just a suggestion before you buy the new sticks..
Re: need help urgent
did you try the CLRTC jumper cap method? it is mentioned here. Check post number 7.

Problems with 2600K/Asus P8P67 Pro Build - AnandTech Forums
guys the blade master fans i bought have a very tiny 4 pin connector. Is there any converter available to connect it to normal peripheral connector from my PSU?
Maybe so, but see.. shipping it to Pune, and Octroi charges which never get evaded.. :| if the motherboard is at 12.7k then octoi itself comes to 600 odd bucks.. blah blah.. anyways.. will wait till 20th and see. that is when smc will get B3 stepping asus p8p67 pro as is what i was told in a pm...
yeah.. but see if i buy the motherboard locally i could save me the hastle of rma if ever needed.. and if it retails at 12.5k with shipping and octroi it comes to about 13k-13.2k.. might as well go in for this.. and I've waiting way too long.. dont have a functional rig as of right now.. Anyways...
Thinking of Asus p8p67 pro b3 stepping and i5 2500k locally from Pune. He's quoting 13,500 motherboard and CPU 12,000. Prices are a bit high since its locally from Pune. Waiting for response from SMC before i place my order.
