I have never ever read of a 4850 underperforming that much... I reckon that it may be some other thing that may be limiting... All i can say is that your experience is very peculiar....

It depends on what resolutions are used..... IMHO Low resolutions 260 beats the crap out of 4870...:ohyeah: Higher ones like above 1600 and all eye candy 4870 rules esp with 1gb over 900odd mb of 260.... overall 4870 is better as future games with more eyecandy will work better with 4870...
