Hi, I have this tv, bought it about 2 months ago.. Very good picture quality, esp with HD content.. It also plays HD videos from portable HDDs too (Sony tv's dont support this) U can very well go for this if you want a LED tv (without 3D)

Well, the SGS2 is better in cpu bcoz of higher clocks, and has a better camera... But, the nvidia tegra chipset better graphics capabilities than that in SGS2..

@OP: how much did the e6600 cost you and from where? I also intend to buy a LGA775 cpu soon... Also, e5800 has been launched (3.2 ghz), so would be looking at that too..

Thanks for the reply! I searched and found that PL30 is there, it has good reviews..Around 900..That fits the price bracket, but they are more than 3 yrs old.. So, Soundmagic has recently introduced E30 earphones, which are said to be better than PL30, in the same price range. Couldn't find it...

I myself had purchased samsung 40D5000 last month after doing a lot of market research... Believe me, you'll be happy buying it..it can read my 500GB HDD and can play almost every movie i throw at it.. :) The panel lottery is over hyped..don't base your decision just on that basis..

Go for 560ti, both have almost same performance.. But with nvidia, you have added advantage of PhysX and CUDA which can really make a difference while playing games and running heavy workload applications which can make use of CUDA... Driver support is better in nvidia imo...

go for the 480, later you can sell it off when the 600 series comes out...
