    Hey mrcool63, I would recommend using Windows 7 with 64 Bit for these applications, you will get better performance and better results. I was using Windows 8 x64 during last 1 month and had several problems with the GPU compatibility.. but might work for you.

    This indicates that your modem does not have the ability to install and get detected as fake 3G device.. You might want to try them with any other PC's. If it still does not work then probably you will need to get them check by product manufacturer!
