    HDD by the way is a sensitive device it can sustain shocks to some extend only i think yours is fine if u hear some "tak tak" voices from your hdd then beware ;)

    Actually we cant say when a HDD will fail sometimes it may fall from our hand and will work sometime it just goes off ;) SO better is to keep a backup write your most important datas to DVD DVD's are real cheap now.
