VX 550 is now available for 3.8k + tax. So 3.2k shipped will be a fair price.

You can also look for TX 650 V2. It will cost you 5.3k and it is 80+ Bronze certified. Also price of VX 550 has gone down. In Digit forum I saw one purchased for 3.8k + taxes. Also VX series is EOL.

It needs 24 hours to fully recharge the battery. The 1KVA model is pricier than the 1.1 KVA one and needs only 5-6 hours to fully recharge.
