Update: I used the Power Supply Calculator from here PSUEngine I entered all the details to the best of my knowledge. It calculated the power to be 312 Watts. I guess this should be the wattage of the PSU at 100% efficiency.

Update: I got hold of a Supercomp PSU 400 Watts and connected it to my computer with the graphics card inserted. Same thing happened, DVD-RW went into loops. :(
