how about USB TV tuner card ? are they good enough for it ? I think there are few available on market. get the mobo built in display as this pc wont be use for gaming.. built in is just nice for home user.

but most of the spicy and juicy ;) stuffs are in rapidshare ..even the latest movie.. appz .. games. There isnt any alternative to Rapidshare. ( content wise)

My sugg is go for 4Gb 800Mhz .. will be much better than going for 2GB .. 4GB one you can make it run around 1000 with little tweak.. I guess you gonna build a solid PC :) I have access to these things in cheaper way :) Just that not enough money to buy these stuffs !

This board should be around 6k including processor .. if we follow US price.. its intel rite .. we should have it there in India. you may check with Intel distributer . I am planning for one of these for RnD .. lets see how cool I can make a PC.

Do you think wacom tablet will help ? Its the best but I am not sure if your daughter can learn how to use it. When I got mine .. it took a week to get adjusted. Unless you want those Cintiq series where its live on screen .. but cost goes almost 30k :) These days kids are very fast learner...

S6500FD user here .. go for it. Image stabilizer wont work in low light situation. S6000FD its nice to show .. nice to hold .. nice picture !!! Try the RAW mode and take full control of your picture !
