    CPU/Mobo CPU, Motherboard & Ram

Get a P35 based motherboard like Biostar TP35D2-A7 or ABIT IP35-E. :D The former costs around 5k, and IP35-E for a few more, I'd assume. And do you already have DDR2 RAM?

Graphic Cards Apparently HD 2900 Pro...

Pretty sure that if it beats the 8800 GTS 320MB and is in the same price bracket, this is looking like a sweet buy. Two problems though, this is a limited edition so only limited amount will be available from the get go, and there are rumors flying around that ATI is going to already introduce...

Graphic Cards Apparently HD 2900 Pro...

can be overclocked to beat the HD 2900XT. All this at around 265$ I hear. Check it out here. Great VFM, if it's true that is. I'm reserving judgement until a reputed site reviews it.

Valve Orange Box only for Rs. 999!

TBH, this package is a great value for money. Even if it's price at around 1.5-2k, it's still loaded with so much first class content. :D

    CPU/Mobo Mobo for Quad core

Graphic Cards Suggest graphics card for 24" LCD monitor

ATI's HD 2600XT and nVidia's 8600 GT/S are more than enough for driving a 24" LCD for entertainment (non-gaming) purposes. ;) So yeah, get either, depending on which is cheaper where you live, etc. :)

    Graphic Cards 8600GTS Vs 8600GT? Which 8600GTS (256/512/BRAND) ?

You'll be fine with X2 4400+. There won't be any bottlenecking with that CPU, so don't worry about it. ;)

PC Peripherals Help in Choosing a PC guys

Investing in AGP right now is not advisable. It's been phased out by the faster PCI-Express, and remember, PCI-Express cards are cheaper than their AGP brethren. I'd suggest E4400 + Biostar P35 + 2 GB DDR2-667 + EVGA 8800 GTS 320 MB. If you're getting it through newegg, it's wise to go for the...

PC Peripherals Need some help buying a new pc

Somebody feel free correct me if I'm wrong here, as I don't have in depth knowledge on this, but I think the 19" WS you're thinking about is a TN based panel. The 2007WFP is manufactured using superior technology, I believe that TN based panels have 16.2 million colors while the 2007WFP has 16.7...

PC Peripherals plannin to upgrade...plz help

Get 2 GB of RAM. Kingston or Transcend. Either works. Viewsonic LCD monitors are great, go for a VX1932WM which has a 2 MS response time. Also, try squeezing in a C2D there somehow. Atleast an E6750. If budget is very tight, AMD would be a better choice as it's better VFM. Either AMD A64 X2...

    Most "avoidable" games.....

I actually enjoyed Painkiller. It has a great old school feel to it. Yeah, it's not got a great dramatic story or complicated gameplay, but it was pure unadulterated fun. :P

BioShock for PS3 - Confirmed Yet Again !!!

I've played Gears of War on 360 when I had one, and I didn't have a problem with the controls at all. They were pretty tight. :D Hmm, I hope this is true, because then Bioshock would reach a wider audience. And Aces, yes, there are adapters available readily to which you can attach KB and...

    PC Peripherals PC Configuration

E4400 is fine, it's a pretty good CPU but the E6750 has 4 MB Cache over the E4400's 2 MB cache. And the price difference is not huge either, but the extra performance is well worth the money. :hap2: I'd give first preference to E6750, but if budget is tight, go for E4400 Get a Samsung Pleomax...

    Another Orkut related Murder.

It's sad that someone innocent was killed and all, but why the hell would you meet up with random strangers who you've never seen/heard before? It's not Orkut which is at fault here, it's the fault of people giving out their personal info as to how and where you can meet them, their phone...

    PC Peripherals PC Configuration

Try going in for dual sticks of 1 GB RAM for a total of 2 GBs. :) XFX 650i Ultra is a great board, so go through with it. As for the proccy, give preference to the E6750 over the E4400, because if you're going to be gaming, then the E6750 would be a better choice. As for the GPU, go for XFX...
