You're confusing the S750 with the S730. The S750 is a 5.1 version of the S730. It's not listed in Edifier.in.

no i meant having ACC on the chipset(SB750) is completely useless for a phenom II, since they would get it regardless of what mobo you use.

edit: i just found out that the ACC (about the only reason i ever had to look at 790 chipset), is automatically disabled when using phenom II processors, because its built into the processor during manufacture lol. So i'll be sticking with an ok 780g or 770 mobo. use my savings to get a ccf :P

Have you OCd your 940? Could you post some results? I heard this board can't put up with over 1.475 volts without losing stability.

dont even think about it. i thought it would be more in line with the us prices (about 8k rs), but my best retailer quoted 11.5k:@ imo the best 790gx board in the top end(ie no biostar or jetway) is the MSI DKA790GX. costs a little over 9k.

How is the OC performance? how far could you get with your processor stable? Your 940's OC would be similar to a 720's. I'm also considering GigaByte GA-MA790X-UD4P. Its SB750, and it doesnt have onboard IGP which is useless for me. How is its availability here?
