oh ok. hmmm so will go with APC 1000va looks like thats the best option. i am not so confident about luminous and sukam (quite irritated with the luminous guy as he did not turn up for the demo and installation two weeks ago)

can i use APC BI1000I with only one Exide battery (or Amaron), i mean it just halves the back up time right, when compared to the 2 batteries. also can some one tell me the backup time one battery can provide on full load with BI1000i? do i have better options with any other reliable brands?

use the 3 pin plug.... most of the plugs provided these days are 2 pin, they don't have the earthing pin.... change it..... use a 3 pin plug....
