CPU/Mobo Thin Mini-ITX AIO chassis and boards?

I ordered mine from Crazy Pi on Thursday night. I haven't received it yet. FedEx Priority Overnight, my derriere!

Raspberry Pi 2 is here !

Windows 10 for the RPi 2 will only run modern apps. AFAIK, IDM is just a regular Win32/64 app, so it won't work. However, a regular install of Debian (Raspbian) or XBMC (Raspbmc) is a fully functional Linux machine, so you can install transmission-daemon on it for all torrenting needs...

CPU/Mobo Thin Mini-ITX AIO chassis and boards?

My prayers may have been answered! The new Raspberry Pi 2 was announced today with a 900MHz quad-core ARMv7 CPU and 1GB of RAM. Considering how the older Pi running Debian was just barely usable as a desktop, I expect the Pi 2 to work just fine. Plus, it now has Ubuntu and, in the future...

CPU/Mobo Thin Mini-ITX AIO chassis and boards?

I'm spoiled by the ridiculously low power and diminutive size of the Raspberry Pi. And that's the machine that's actually doing more work in my flat than anything else - it's a seedbox, a media server, a development web/app server - and it's still running off the power from a USB cable from my...

    CPU/Mobo Ubuntu 14.x/Debian 7.x on an Intel NUC DN2820?

A while ago, I was looking at building a tiny PC to attach at the back of a 21+" monitor, but the options were expensive or not too promising. The Intel NUC kits have now dropped to an affordable price (under 8.5k), so I'm back in the market for this. My primary use for this would be a Linux...

CPU/Mobo Thin Mini-ITX AIO chassis and boards?

It's been a while and I guess things are looking up. Intel's NUC kit DN2820xxx with a Celeron N2820 is now going for as low as Rs. 8,400 (http://www.snapdeal.com/product/intel-nuc-kit/2142554146). It needs RAM and an HDD/SDD, but everything else is in the box, including a VESA mount. Looking good!

CPU/Mobo Thin Mini-ITX AIO chassis and boards?

    1. Bored of a Mac / Already have an iMac 2. Don't want an iMac, but I want an iMac style PC - monitor with integrated unit 3. Prefer to build/upgrade/tinker, so an empty chassis with an LCD only would be great. 4. I don't want to splurge, or I could order these parts from outside.

Budget 0-20k PC for 15k Budget

How about these options: This is a full desktop with a 16.5" LCD and a 160GB HDD and it costs around 14,649. Some coupon will probably shave off 500 more. http://www.ebay.in/itm/BRAND-NEW-DESKTOP-COMPUTER-PC-PENTIUM-D-DUALCORE-2-8-GHZ-2-gb-160-GB-DVD-15-/171088394644 This is another option...

CPU/Mobo Thin Mini-ITX AIO chassis and boards?

Those NUCs are too new. I don't think they're available anywhere here and they're probably too expensive. I saw those Zotacs, but I'm still trying to get a fully integrated iMac-like set up because it's just easy to maintain and move around from one desk to another. I already have a 21.5" iMac...

Budget 0-20k PC for 15k Budget

On another note, consider an entry-level laptop, which will come with a dual-core processor powerful enough to accomplish all the tasks you've mentioned. I recently put 4GB DDR3, a 64GB SATA II SSD and Windows 8 on a two-year old Toshiba Satellite C665 with a 2GHz Pentium P6100 and it's such a...

Budget 0-20k PC for 15k Budget

+1 for the G3220. I'm holding out for it as well. There may not be much of a difference between the G2020 and this one, but I've been hearing good things about the Intel HD Graphics 4400/4600, so the combo will be great. Considering your budget, onboard gfx is what you'll get and this should...

CPU/Mobo Thin Mini-ITX AIO chassis and boards?

That's sad. It might actually be cheaper to rip apart a laptop and stick it to the back of a 22"+ monitor!

CPU/Mobo Thin Mini-ITX AIO chassis and boards?

That chassis is an HTPC one. Those have been around for a long time. The one I mentioned above is generally comes as an LCD with a thin cabinet on the back, into which only the "Thin Mini-ITX" boards will fit, not regular Mini-ITX.

Check this out: http://www.tomshardware.com/picturestory/604-22-do-it-yourself-all-in-one-thin-mini-itx.html Have you come across any thin mini-ITX motherboards such as the Intel DH61AG and an all-in-one chassis such as the Loop LP-2150 around here? This article is a year old, so I was hoping...

Budget 0-20k Asus X201E vs. Acer Aspire V5-121

I'm having a tough time deciding between the two. Asus X201E (Flipkart; Rs. 19,399) vs. Acer Aspire V5-121 (eBay; Rs. 18,990) This isn't really about the price. Both cost a sliver under 20k and offer similar specs, except that the Asus has a Celeron Dual Core 1.8GHz, while the Acer has an AMD...
