Therefore, we decided to compile this guide to provide an easy reference for those who are interested in comparing the specifications of the various desktop GPUs in the market as well as those already obsolescent or obsolete.

2)When i posted this guide i did not entitle it as the best guide or the worse guide.

Just check out the specs for Nvidia cards and uā€™ll see what I mean.Virtually the entire fx line from 5200 to 5750 has errors.The memory bandwidth for the 5750 is stated as 14.4gbps when it is 8-8.8gbps infact.The 5600xt,pcx 5300 ā€¦ all have wrong specs.
I dont care about -ve ratings.I still think ppl should check what they link to.There are hundreds of hw sites out there these days and many of them have wrong info.
As a example,channeltimes.com posted last year that a A64 2600+ had been released,xbitlabs.com(an excellent site,mind u)carried the news item from there and posted it.I promptly pointed it out to them that channeltimes.com was in fact wrong.
To date there has been no a64 2600+(the sempron based on a64 doesnt count here).
If some ordinary member posts an article with some erroneous info,it is perfectly alright,but mods must be more careful.
Adrianā€™s RP is a good site too in particular their Bios guide,but the material posted/linked to here must be the best from various sites.Blind linking without scrutiny is not helpful.
I did not want to cause injury to Al Pacino(one of my favourite actors,lol)but just that I think mods must be more scrupulous.

I and undertaker go a long way back (TT). before the birth of these sites.your (~HeadShot~) juvenile attempts to create flames or rift between members here will not make an iota of difference.:hap5:

BTW, I also used to browse the TT AskTT section way long back. But I didnā€™t post there 'coz I didnā€™t have a PC at home (Even now, I donā€™t have one). I know u deejay from TT(Other popular ones were John from Delhi, Siddharth, Rahul Jawale, etc.). Hell, I didnā€™t know that u were involved in TA until I myself joined TA! I was kinda surprised to find u there! I had initially regd. in the nick C00L_H4CK3R!

Yeah ASK TT was good in the beginning but soon became a royal pain with people all sorts of people posting hilarious non-sensical questions.A common example ā€˜Help me get Best PC/mobile.thanks.ā€™ or even more ludicrous ones.Then someone posted all sorts of crap (the imposter,remember DJ?)and hell broke loose.
TT has susequently opened TT forums but they donā€™t compare with TE by a long shot. :clap:

I would however like to lodge a strong protest against the -ve rating given to me.
If critcising a mod earns one -ve ratings,then TE will head towards the path followed by TA.

We at TE/TA are nice guys you see. mistakes made , which hurt a active , sincere , industrious member like you are rectified asap. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Well ask Rahul and Vishal about John.I removed him from my yahoo buddy list long back.But he did manage to piss off both Rahul and Vishal.
Dunno but I think he goes psycho from time to time,only thing he has nowhere to rant around anymore.And none of us has the courage to invite him here,for obvious reasons!
