Ive 25 - 28k in my hand, thinking of going for amd 64 config

Im think ill go for this config without the optical mouse(already have one) and without the 6600gt (have a 5200) will upgrade later.
Btw stalker this board does not support pci x while gt is a pci x card, is it a typo or something else.
Please comment on this config or suggest something else below 28k.
6600GT is available in both AGP and PCI-E flavours.
Looks like a decent rig for the budget u have in mind.
how good is a fx 5200?
If u’r not buying 6600gt, you should get msi rs480m2 instead of k8n, 'cause its got excellent integrated video as good as geforce 6200 and much better then u’r current fx5200 and also got pci-e, and socket 939, so upgrading would be easy in future.
The complete rig then with above spec(minus the 6600gt) would then work out to be 28k.
And also one more thing u can do is ,sell u’r fx5200, and get more 256MB RAM more, 'cause integrated video would eat up some RAM
sounds like a good config , the 6600gt is available in agp but when u decide to get one try the leadtek one, the heatsink looks a bit better than xfx
seagate 80gig is 3k for sata and 2.6k for pata
Wouldnt term an X300se as much better to anything a 128bit fx 5200 will be better

Yup you get the 6600Gt in both AGP and PCI.
