I use alldebrid and it costs me 3 Euros per month on autopay, There might be cheaper options out there but this is the cheapest one with direct integrations with a lot of “amazing apps”. If you want, I can invite you.
What’s your use case like ? Do you only need to use it on a browser ? Do you want support to download torrents ? What websites will you usually download from ?
Yes it does, But I’ve used it on a bunch of devices (laptop, firestick and my phone) on the same network and I’ve never had an issue, I did get a warning once when I shared it with a friend. I decided to not try it again.
i am also interested in setting stremio up to watch content, looking for best options and also a guide. Also within the home will it work only one a single device or multiple devices. As i need it to run on a couple of devices within the same home. Looking for inputs and suggestions.
You can use it on multiple devices at the same time as long as all devices are on the same network/wifi. If one of the devices is using cellular data and another is using your home wifi then you might get warned/banned. If you want to share with your friends also you can take a look at
Thanks installed stremio and also added torentino, as of now i am able to play most of the stuff in 1080 p . Did not go for any other additional services yet.
I think they have abuse algorithms in place to not tag this kind of behaviour, I was able to use it on an European VPS with pyload as well. I’ve only had one warning when I shared my credentials with someone.
But I can easily generate direct download links and share them with friends, that works fine.
You can check out r/StremioAddons, They have a well written guide on how to setup everything. And you can go a long way without paying for debrid services as well, but it might be slow.
Sharing on RealDebrid is a bit iffy because if stuff is streamed from multiple IPs at the same time they get angry, but the subscription is worth it completely. Compared to Indian streaming prices 1800 for 6 months is a lot but the price is much more competitive when Netflix costs 600 a month abroad, it’s also a catalog of every single movie / show that is even slightly popular, the value of it is unprecedented and really the best kept secret of the internet imo!
NP! you can get the cheapest one to give it a try for 30 days 400rs, www dot utop dot us accepts upi and other indian payment services and ive gotten their codes for the last four years without issues
This was a good suggestion and I went with the 360-day plan. Probably would have thought twice otherwise, but have BTC lying around from when it was below $20k, so this was quite cheap indeed.
Appreciate the convenience of being able to stream in 4K HDR on demand. For some shows that were not organised properly on Stremio, the torrent was already cached, so immediately accessible over WebDAV using Kodi.
Guess my local Sonarr/Radarr setup will mostly sit around now with little use of VPN to go along with it.
