vegan sources aren’t reliable for EPA levels as it stands, atleast per trustified. You may be able to get adequate amount of DHA, but the actual EPA levels are usually nowhere near what the label claims.

Though to be fair, 1mg isn’t listing this particular one as an EPA source, so there might be some merit in considering that. But then it’s a bit misleading to call it “Omega 3”, as it’s missing one of the two constituents that makes it Omega 3 - EPA.

Fish Oil is the way to go if you want EPA - the primary ingredient that helps in reducing triglycerides.

My lipid profile has always hovered around:

Triglyceride: 85-95

HDL: 35-45

LDL: 120-140

ApoB: 90-95

Fish oils pills / Omega-3 (DHA+EPA) capsules have not affected any of these.

I meant Whey is pointless, because most of the people taking it do not have a picture about what is the current protein intake. And neither do they know what measurable effect will be once they increase this protein intake (via Whey mostly)

These triglyceride levels are normal. One can only know about effectiveness if they have high levels. And I think it is pretty easy to get a good estimate of how much protein one is taking by simply tracking the food.

This is what I get.

I have recently been trying the Sports Research Alaskan Omega 3 fish oil. Heard great things about it. Some reviews on YouTube also looked promising. What is your opinion guys.

From whatever ive read online, this is one of the best available.
