Good 4k 120hz supported hdmi cable

So i have 5080 and a LG G2 Oled it runs only at 60hz ,current cable is amazon branded hdmi ,is there a good brand that support 120hz

As long it’s hdmi 2.1 it will do 4k 120hz

Also you will have to goto the nvidia control panel and make sure you are selecting your resolution under the PC sub menu.

Picture is a from a PC with 5080 and LG C2

I can recommend this Honeywell model:

https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08HRG2MB5/

It’s reasonably priced, ultra certified, has warranty and is available in various sizes.

Almost all short (1.8m) HDMI cables support 2.1. The HDMI version has more to do with the connectors on devcies rather than cable.

I have used the in-box hdmi cable by Jio settop box for my PC and it is doing 4k 144hz HDR.

If you’re going longer than 2 meter then you will have to buy expensive cables.

Would suggest testing any in-box HDMI cable first (if you have them), if it does the job, don’t go for any expensive ones.

I have tested [this](’

Ant Esports AEH0105 HDMI Cable 4K High-Speed HDMI Cord - ANT E-SPORTS’

) for 4k 144hz HDR and it worked fine, whereas [this](’

Amazon.in’

) (5m expensive one) could only do 4k 60hz HDR.

I got this - “BlueRigger Ultra Series 8K HDMI to HDMI” - few years back, decent quality, works well with 4k @ 120hz with 4:4:4 -

YES,after posted this i checked in display settings i could select 120hz while gaming im getting artifacts like green lines i tried to remove cable and place it back still same issue

Just get one of the HDMI ultra certified cables from a reputed brand - Honeywell, Bluerigger if the budget is not an issue. Since using with a tv, even in future no need to be concerned about full compatibility about possible future uses like PS5 or soundbar upgrades etc.

Remember the signal is digital not analog, even bad quality cable can’t give inferior picture quality, it will either straight up work or not.

If any cheap cable works, there is nothing to be gained by buying more expensive cables.

Just get the HDMI specification right - 2.1.

just unplugged and replugged it there was rare occational white lines on the extreme right corner but very rare, no green full on lines
