The Pixel 9a is selling at almost 8k cheaper than the list price on FK or Google. Has anyone purchased from this seller?

Pixel phones are not worth it for most people because of battery life, thermals & performance. A 25k phone with D8450 outperforms it easily while running cooler & having a better battery life.
With SiC batteries, say a OP 13R under 40k is easily a much better phone for most even with the inferior cameras. Those “inferior” cameras are easily good enough for most but poor battery life is something that will haunt you everyday. Also, battery life of Pixels are worse in India vs EU/US because of higher ambient temps.
Sure 9a is a relatively compact phone, but E2400 of S24 is superior to Tensor in all respects. S24 will likely sell for 40k in BBD or GIF sales.

Isn’t there an offer going on to buy the 8GB with 256 GB storage variant for 34K on DD? I haven’t checked as I got that Poco F7 earlier (even have the offer code XD)

Try to avoid the a series. Also last year BBD had the Pixel 8 for 34k. Going by that Pixel 9 will probably sell for the same this year. It’s worth it if you want the best camera in Android and the software optimisation and long term support. The haptics is also the best in Android. But like others said, battery is not great, and the network is poor. Check your priorities and decide.

Hell charging your phone from the wall allows for some digital detox so I would suggest getting one with the smallest battery instead.
On topic, my Pixel 7a lasts more than a day with normal usage - normal, mind you. You cannot get a better camera. Yes, the modem sucks but then that is a good thing. You avoid junk calls.
Last point - always buy stuff from folks who are not authorized to sell it. You don’t get genuine stuff from authorized sellers anyways these days.

Regardless if anyone is looking for a pixel , just keep using your current phone until pixel 10 or 10a arrives
