I have been sending mails past 1 month from Gmail to many of cousins friends all over the world using hotmail. And I get no replies, so I try to send a test mail from 4 of my Gmail Id’s and they all land up in my Spam in Hotmail ID !!!
What kinda bullsit is this.. My inbox is full of crap spams and the legit mail goes in Spam.
Why dont you guys try and see if it occurs ?
yes…that is a known problem.
Only solution, ask those ppl to add ur id to their safe list.
This has been happening ever since GMail started.

Or you could configure your spam mail settings in your options in your hotmail account.

I’m sure you don’t have the default settings enabled. Check.
The filter level is at Enhanced which is the default level.
Then change it.
The point being, at least ppl who are not tech savvy are not gonna fiddle with the settings!!!My aunt who is 60 yrs old is not gonna change it for ? And she must be wondering why no one writes to her …
Stupid shit, whats the point of an email addy if most of the legit emails go in Spam folder and most of the Spam comes in the Legit folder…

You access it directly from the website or use outlook express?
How does it matters. If it ends up in JunkBox u will find it there only, no matter how u access it.
Setting filters at oe level or hotmail level makes a difference.
i dint knew that u can move ur mails from Junk to Inbox by use of filters. I thot they worked only, the other way round.
