The Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165 is a 1x1 802.11ac Wi-Fi 5 adapter offering theoretical maximum speeds of 433 Mbps on the 5GHz band and 150 Mbps on 2.4GHz.
It supports dual-band operation, Bluetooth 4.2, and uses the M.2 (NGFF) interface.
It is a Non-CNVi Card. In other words, it is a traditional PCIe/USB-based M.2 2230 Wi-Fi card. It uses the standard NGFF (M.2) interface. This should make it compatible with a wide range of laptops rather than requiring a specifically supported Intel CPU and motherboard, which is necessary for CNVi cards.
This is a VERY Old card with extremely limited Wi-Fi scope (1x1 Data Streams). Furthermore, it might not work with motherboards that have a CNVi M.2 Wi-Fi slot.
However, it could be a good card for anyone who wants internal Wi-Fi + BT adapter.
