Want to sell above card.
Bluetooth stopped working. Wifi works.
For those interested:
The Intel 8260NGW is a standard PCI Express (PCIe) M.2 card.
Hence, it is Universally compatible with Intel and AMD CPUs.
It has 2X2 Antenna
Wi-Fi maxes out at 867 Mbps.
Bluetooth v4.2
It is strange that BT stopped working. Perhaps it could be an issue with either the AUX (No.2) connector on the board or the Antenna could be faulty.
I dunno if it was antenna issue or what, i bought another m.2 card, same model, and installed it on the pci-e card.
If a SAME Model Card worked in the same system, then this is certainly a problematic card.
Potential buyers must assume BT is dead on the card and buy it purely for Wi-Fi.
If by BT not working means poor signal (vs not turning on at all), it could be the MHF4 plug on the PCB. Not sure how many times the antenna cable may have mated with the plug on the card but these are rated for very few cycles. Eventually the center pin can distort and become loose.
Another issue could be that the central conductor’s solder may have broken on the pcb, and the entire smd plug is only held via the ground pads on the sides.
It’s an easy fix (assuming these are the issues), if you could find a replacement. A heat gun + tweezers is all that’s required (plus some experience ofc).
GLWS.
