Is Moglix reliable?

The subject line really says it all.
I’ve known about moglix.com for quite some time but never purchased anything from them.
Are they reliable, selling genuine products?

Yes I have used them couple of times and in both instances they have delivered the items well packed and within timelines. One was a network switch and another was a scanner.

Thanks.
My current requirement is an analog multimeter, specifically an MTQ 1090 by a company called MetroQ. Moglix has the lowest price by a considerable margin.

The company has two models - MTQ 890 and MTQ 1090. They look somewhat similar at a quick glance but have major different specs and a big difference in price.
The problem is that many online shops mix up the two. For instance, some sellers show an image of a 1090 in a listing for a 890 and vice versa.

To make matters worse, there seem to be two different products called MTQ 1090 on the market, both of which are different from the 890. As often happens, the sellers are of no help. I asked at the Metro Q site but their reply was not very helpful either. Their download link does not work and they have only a fuzzy image which is much poorer than those of resellers. Ho-hum.

I bought an Arab Pearl White Ceiling Fan from them, and both the packing and product were in excellent condition

I had a bad experience with Moglix. I placed an order for a managed switch, but the product that was delivered was clearly open and refurbished. The date is 1.5 years old.

My bad that I didn’t use a credit card; now I can’t apply for a chargeback. It’s impossible to contact them.

The website itself is a buggy mess. The shipment was slow, and not to mention they cancelled it one time.

Would it be possible to resurrect Ratan Tata? I think that would be easier than finding anyone from there to complain. I wished he had built a decent IT company and hired some IT professionals to maintain those 5 billion e-commerce websites Tata keeps around.

I have bought more than 10 items from moglix and all were delivered super fast without any issues. Never had to reach out to their CC. Industry buying on the other hand is run by scamsters. I had ordered fire extinguishers from them - didn’t receive for more than 2 weeks. CC kept telling me to wait on email. When I called them the CC shouted when I asked for a refund telling me they don’t do refunds and to wait for them to ship the fire extinguisher. Never got the delivery and had to chargeback.

My previous experience was good. I will no longer be recommending it.

I have bought a TP-Link switch and a Canon scanner. I did not face any issues with either order. It has been some time though so not sure about the recent service.

Has anyone tried chargeback/refund through your bank and has it worked?

I have done 4-5 chargebacks in the last 20 years. It takes 3-4 months but I always got the refund through my credit card. The bank will ask for a LOT OF PROOF before issuing the refund though so make sure your case is 100% genuine and you can provide proof
