The panel details link you gave me mentions (for the 165hz version) the conncetivity is “Interface TypeeDP (4 Lanes) , eDP1.4 , HBR3 (8.1G/lane) , 40 pins Connector”

Can you ELI5 for me, what can and cannot connect to this? Does it support HDMI?

Like I have a AMD ThinkPad with a full HDMI port and USB-C too and also a AMD ASUS ZenBook with USB-C ports and a separate dongle I got with full HDMI …

will they be able to display on this portable unit?

I presume a regular (Ryzen) PC should be fine? What are the cables available? Thanks!

also - this sale says shipping risk is on buyer? so should i just get the 165hz unit new from your website with full delivery/DOA/warranty support? thanks

Interested Pm’ed

You posted this 5 months ago about purchasing from pindoudou, so what happened in the meantime for it to only arrive in December?

https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianGaming/comments/1n0fhmo/wts_25k_resolution_240hz_16inch_borderless_ips/

that monitor was sold to @marsweeed in november iirc and that monitor was IPS 2.5k 240hz not MiniLED 2.5k 240hz

That are just pure panel specs not meant for end consumer, Infact all monitor panels have eDP 40pins which they use to connect it with a display/controller board using a eDP 40pin cable

This monitor has a Display Port and a Type-C (only for power delivery) You can use with any device that has HDMI port but you would have to use a Display Port to HDMI adapter

The cables included are 1x Display Port cable and 1x Type-C cable

Yeah i posted that IPS monitor on reddit for sale and in TechEnclave as well, and it ended up selling on TE

Here’s the link to the sale

This is what eDP 40pins connector on a display panel looks like

And this is how a eDP 40pin cable looks like this cable is used to connect the Panel to a controller board

thanks for the detailed replies @ seller - should be useful for any other intereted buyers too.

im in two minds thinking about getting this because already have a portable monitor for standby/backup use, so not very likely but thanks again.
