My triumphs and trysts with VSOL V2802RH

@Ashtreks What will be the advantage or use of this for JIo Fiber ? Kindly explain the use case.

I have my Vsol setup on Jio Fiber with Ln1301 as router under Automatic DHCP mode and cloned mac of Jio router.

For this use case cloning the Mac on VSOL will be of no help or use. When it can be done with the router. Also the Vsol is in bridge mode and router does all the DHCP routing with Open DNS.

I have a router (I think it’s TPLink ) AX6 router but no mac cloning feature. Thought I can use that with VSOL if the mac cloning feature works.

Please check below screenshot. For jio FIber you need to select Dynamic IP and clone the mac as per settings below.

Do you still want VSOL V2802RH ?

@kuduku - How is your VSOL V2802RH ?
Is it still working ? Are you facing any issues with it ?
Have you tried Airtel Xtream fiber with it ?

No issues, most stable, haven’t even open the GUI after that day

Setup my Vsol again with Airtel last night and i am surprised with the difference compared to stock Airtel Zte provided GPON router which was in bridge mode.

First time i saw such low pings for IPV6. I use nextdns.
