Have you checked lumio vison 9 series
No. I didnât.
I am not sure if I want to experiment with newer brands or not if there are options from experienced & reputed brands.
Well, these guys are ex Xiaomi guys , so I am sure they know the trade. Anyways âŚ
Visited Reliance Digital yesterday and compared TCL 55 C6K (similar to Q6C or QM6K) with another TCL QLED (non miniLED) and found it good (although my room is not too bright and can me made dark any time of the day so even a QLED is bright enough).
Checked few youtube videos and it serves my purpose (except very minor missing thing that it will not pass-thru Atmos with True-HD to AVR/soundbar although it will pass-thru Atmos with DD+ that streaming apps use but I can manage that by connecting the media player to AVR/soundbar first).
It is expected to be @40k in the sale. Any better options in the same price range?
Please suggest a swivel wall mount also.
Please ignore if redundant to you, but if it might be helpful, Iâll add that overcoming glare is only one part of the consideration. To view (appropriately mastered) HDR content to its actual potential/intent, high peak luminance is necessary just as much as low black level luminance.
High sustained brightness capability is also then critical, otherwise, even with high peak brightness capability within certain windows, the content would dim overall in some scenes, which would lose the âpunchâ. This is the one area where the more expensive LED TVs could really distinguish themselves; still, if the relatively more cheaper models like C6K can indeed deliver at least around 600 nits full screen, in my experience, that would pass the threshold for making a noticeable difference (the higher the better, though).
As basic QLEDs likely tap out at under 400 nits full screen, and also lack fine contrast control, the HDR aspect would begin to lose its meaning with these products, even if they would be plenty bright enough for SDR viewing, and for overcoming glare in many normal viewing environments.
So, finally I bought TCL 55 C6K which I saw at Reliance Digital on Sunday. After watching reading many posts/reviews and watching many videos (most of them seem to be from paid influencers and some with TCL complaints) but I still think at Rs.37.5k it is a good value for money and almost no compromises from my desired list of features.
I think the product is good, service may be bad (including installation) but being in Gurgaon I am ok to take chances. I am buying my own wall mount, at the most I will need to call a Samsung/Xiaomi technician and get it installed privately.
Thanks you everyone for suggestions.
Price comparison between Flipkart & Amazon (I had bought Rs.1000 off pass from both Flipkart & Amazon @99 each just in case)
Edit: Amazon Q6C would have been 39,339 (Amazon gives Rs.1000 cashback as Amazon Pay balance unlike Flipkartâs cash discount).
Lucky you. Grabbed at the right time. Now I think a different seller is charging 54K
I think Flipkart (Seller: KLPLWORLDRetail) has run out of stock at the moment, so the current price is shown from another (private) seller.
If you want to buy, wait till KLPLWORLDRetail shows as a seller.
Note: Itâs KLPL in the beginning, not KLPD. ![]()
KLPL is authorized seller? On Amazon, it is Dawntech. Had a chat & a call with TCL to know authorized sellers, they were completely clueless.
Flipkart offers itâs TV (and other appliances like this) deals through âKLPLWORLDRetailâ. So, it must be their own arm.
whatâs this and from where to get it?
And I see FK Black in that SS - is that membership which is available currently at 900 something for a year?
In stock now at the mentioned price (Rs.44990) before offers and card discount..
Missed again. Can you pls reply to the previous query..?
These are my screenshot when I was comparing both. You can yourself check all this by adding it to cart.
I have BLACK membership, not sure current price is 900 or not.
No, screenshots I understood. Sorry I didnât frame the question better earlier.
I am asking what are these flipkart/amazon 1000 off pass that you bought for 99? Hearing about them for the first time.
This is also a good option @25.7k
Delivered today.
It was an open box delivery, so the delivery person removed it from the box and put it on dining table for me to check physical damage. Taking the opportunity, I did not let them put it back in the box.
After they left, I installed the legs and put it myself on the rack and make it operational to check functionality. No need to wait for TCL person now.
I will get it wall mounted from a trusted jeeves installer who installed my 75" TV on a similar swivel wall mount that I have already bought from Amazon for this TV.
PS: Stickers will be removed after it is installed on the wall in 1-2 days.
Congratulations

Can you pls tell the exact distance between the two stands? This info is not available online and I need to check if I can keep this on my table.
Howâs it treating you? Just got the 55Q6C from for 39.5k + extended warranty as well.
Looking to experience miniled haha
