Please suggest 55" LED TV (Mini-LED) and/or QLED from HiSense/Xiaomi/VU/TCL/

@prime Please update on this key measurement query that can immensely aid the buying decision of many.

I am very satisfied with it. It’s worth every penny I spent.

I have got it wall mounted on Saturday so can’t tell the gap between it’s stands but I will measure the gap between screw holes where stands are screwed and update.

Edit: Gap between screw holes is 37 inches.

Is there any policy of theirs like if you open the box, the warranty is voided or anything like that?

I know my previous mi had this, so had to wait for the technician to come and open it.

For me, it was open box delivery by Flipkart. So when they opened it, I asked them to put it on dining table to check and after checking, I asked them to leave it there. I fixed the stands and started using it.

I thought, if anything is wrong, I will pack it again and since it was OBD, TCL person can’t blame me for opening it.

It was delivered on 25th and TCL person called only on 28th to come and install it. I told him that Flipkart people have already put it on stand and his visit is not needed.

I’m ordering it too! You took extended warranty from Amazon? TCL is already giving 2 years.

Yeah. TCL Care. It’s available when you’re purchasing the tv. 2 extra years for 4049. It’s supposed to be official TCL warranty.

TCL shows different price (price mentioned are incl. GST)

Idk, but I think the website isn’t updated. If you go to actually buy the plan, it says No Plans exist.

This is what I bought

It does say repairs will be done in tcl authorized service centers.

Alright great, thank you!

TCL website offers extended warranty by OneAssist.

Amazon listing says it’s by Servify.

What should we believe? Even brand authorized installers (they are franchise) sell extended warranty by 3rd party service providers.

Maybe both of them are authorized, may be not.

I have no idea.

OneAssist’s own website has general “TV” extended warranty. (don’t remember pricing)

Amazon listing says official is Servify. (4049 for 2 y)

Offline TCL shops use OnSiteGo (3k something for 1 y)

No idea who’s legit

Also, I feel this is a great deal on flipkart. It isn’t 4k 144hz, just 4k 60hz, and the backlight leds are just a tad bit lower in number. But still a great deal for a miniled display.
