Red Dead Redemption is now Available to Play

The game is now available on the PlayStore and Appstore to download with an approximated size of 2.8GB on PlayStore version.

The game looks smooth but don’t expect it to work on ultra-budget devices.

Rockstar has released two versions — one for Netflix subscribers and a Standalone paid Edition for ₹3329(37$):

RDR for Netflix on PlayStore

Genuinely curious how well it works on phones

Would look radical on an iPad

My phone should support it as per requirements but it doesn’t.

I have Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 8 GB RAM.

Downloading the Netflix version on my OnePlus 13R. Let’s see how optimised it is.

Netflix one?

Yeah.

But both shows up as incompatible anyway

Maybe you can run it by installing the apk manually :smiling_face_with_tear: the PlayStore has some bug shows a few apps not compatible since past few Android updates on some phones even though the app should work fine

Anyone tried it on iPad M1?

Anyone tried Rockstar version (paid one), if is it have any extra graphics quality option

Dude, that title is so confusing. Write it properly, 'Red Dead Redemption is available to play on Android and iOS.’ I was sitting here thinking I discovered some secret new release. Meanwhile, I finished RDR on xbox back in the stone age.

Oh, right. I’m sorry for that but I’m unable to edit it now :smiling_face_with_tear:

installed in on my iPhone 17 Pro M.. game runs damn good.. game looks stunning on the small screen
played it in performance mode which is locked 40pfs mode..

now wanting to buy a mobile game controller…

Yeah a controller might be worth it if it doesn’t cause input delay. Pro Max is still better lol, I saw some users playing on iphone 17 base model :smiling_face_with_tear: I guess it’s best to play on ipad or mirror the phone screen to monitor but in that case there will still be delay

Netflix doesnt allow mirroring games

Tried the Netflix version on Oneplus Pad. Runs fine but appears blurry. Also the other settings don’t appear except for resolution scale.

Tried on my iPhone runs great and shadows are also good pretty eye candy

Installed netflix version on my flip 4. Includes undead nightmare dlc. Initial testing, looks and runs great but I would expect that from such an old game.

Played it again in spring on my xbox one x in 4k. Undead nightmare disk version is botched on all consoles, so haven’t finished that yet.

Played the Netflix version on iPad Air m1. Pretty impressed ,works flawless with a Bluetooth controller(auto mapped no onscreen controls visible).
