Does anyone know a software through which we can control the pc individual app sound from android display(like windows sound panel displayed on phone screen)
I recently changed phone and have oneplus 6 lying around unused for a while.I frequently need to mute/unmute some applications and would rather have something like this than keyboard shortcuts.Searched around reddit for a while but couldn’t find anything that works well.
I currently use deej to control the app volumes, made a macropad with some potentiometers. I think someone created the wireless version of deej, it was something like deej wifi or deej wirelss
If you’re a lil bit hands on with rust or node, lets whip together something, shouldn’t be much complicated creating a simple web server and run it on android on the network
can second kde connect (Personally used it only for linux-kde though). It’s available on Microsoft Windows Store and lists controlling playback devices explicitly as a feature.
for some reason my phone and pc have trouble finding each other on both kde connect and localsend (kde is the most hopeless) even though they are connected to the same router (wired vs wifi, but still)
It’s a common issue on some home networks where other devices are not discoverable, not a KDE Connect specific issue probably (since your mentioned localsend too). If you haven’t tried yet, the easiest way to have it be reliable is to give your computer a static IP, and then connect directly through the IP rather than relying on the discovery feature. If that doesn’t work either then check your router settings and make sure AP Isolation is turned off.
Tried both kde connect and unified remote, both had feature to control one or two audio source maybe i missed something but they were nothing like windows sound mixer, where u can see and control ALL the audio source that are currently there.
