That’s a million dollar question! Someone RMA’ed regular G.Skill Neo a couple of years ago and they received the faux gemstone faux gold version instead and I bought it from them (and forgot where I put it):
Either they’re going to get stringent with the RMA process or upgrade/downgrade with compensation/payment as we saw with GPUs.
