I’m looking for suggestions on case for a multi-GPU ML workstation to accommodate -
asus strix x570e mobo
thermalright peerless assassin 120 se cpu cooler
two 3090s blower style GPUs
5900x cpu
yet to finalize the power supply (1200W+)
Pls note that blower-style card pulls air in through a single fan and expels it directly out the back of the PC, which is unlike open-air(axial) GPU that exhaust heat into the case and rely on case fans to clear it
Want to spend minimal on case, without comprising much on reliability
No flamboyant glasses all around, glittering RGBs, bells and whistle etc etc.
Assuming all are open air GPUs and i suspect you may very soon want a 4th one.
Inside a confined case 3x would release huge amount of heat ~1200w, one heating up another and so on..
You can consider a dedicated open frame with fans in between, plus control over the spacing
I know a guy selling a big dual mobo/CPU-multi GPU chamber like case (2/3rd the size of front load washing machine) with over 20 fans. (perhaps used for mining).
I have a fractal design define meshify 2, which can take the GPU’s (if you dont use it in the storage layout, i.e. without HDD’s). Let me know if youd be interested in this, im located in bangalore.
I was asking which case you’re referring to? Since you didn’t have a clue about four dot, the only other case that comes to my mind is the Thermaltake w200
