Quite a decent buy; it was due.
You'll notice a huge performance increase. Congrats Shashwant (did I spell it right?)

Why not the entry level x4 phenom? Its just 1K more.

Well the rig was over my budget so I cannot ask mom for more addons.. X3 is more than enough and will ad Phenom II when it will be nice and ready :)

I am also kind of in the favor of X3 over X4s. Looking at current softwares/games (which cannot use all the cores to full extent) a core can be sacrificed for a Little more speed and some hard earned money :).

Hope I will be able to join the AMD club soon..........

n why do u feel as Thermaltake cabby & POV 500W are not good buy ?
well under 3k POV 500W is quite BEST u can get .
n when it comes to cabby it becomes persnal ab. looks

NO I don't think so till date ! Both of them are pretty good.. The cabby looks cool and system run fine and very calmly, though as Sangram said Ture won't fit in it so I am a bit disappointing .. Will see how both of these perform when I do some real OC soon..

under 3k POV 500W is BEST u can get . POV 500W is more than enough for ur rig , as u don't have any GPU & other loads of h/w .

"TRUE won't fit in it"........hmm that's sad part . CM 690 would have been better choice then .
