Budget 0-20k 24-25 inch FHD monitor within 18k

Hi Guys,
I am planning to change my 5 year old 24" FHD BenQ monitor.Mostly this monitor will be used for gaming (about 10 hrs max a week :() and not much else though since I do my handbrake encoding on this PC mostly via Windows Remote connection from my laptop.

My requirements are a FHD 16:9 24-25 inch IPS/VA monitor with low response times.144 Hz is too expensive and not that important for my usage since I don't play much online.AMD Freesync is not that important too as I have a GTX 1070.

This is the list generated on the basis of my filters-

On the other hand this Samsung monitor is a VA panel but looks awesome and super light and thin as well.

This one is good as well

Looking forward to your inputs....

Is the current monitor causing any problems?

Because moving to a newer monitor at the same resolution and probably the same refresh rate won't give any perceptible benefits.

If you were moving to WQHD(2560.1440) or 4k or UWQHD(3440.1440), then absolutely it would be definitely an upgrade... but same res won't seem to be worth the expense.

Same is my case, have a 2008 IO Data 1920.1200 16:10 display (IPS, 60 Hz), and I find no reason to upgrade unless moving to 4K or UWQHD. Actually, 16:9 FHD 1080p is actually a downgrade for me pixels and vertical space wise.

Actually I have upgraded my CPU/mobo and RAM and selling the stuff to a colleague who is going to buy a monitor as well.

While researching for the monitor I felt like selling off my CPU/RAM/mobo/CPU cooler/monitor to him and use that money for buying a new monitor. The old monitor is still A-Okay but this is just hardware greed from my end...:p

TN panels are preferable for gaming due to shorter response time compared to VA and IPS.But they do suffer from poor color accuracy.
As already mentioned, I would recommend buying a WQHD IPS monitor for production purposes.

Ah! Even in that case, if you can, go for something that is an upgrade path.... Isnt that what drives our hardware greed?

How about this 21:9

This is pretty good monitor with 99% sRGB coverage but I am a bit concerned with upgrading to a monitor with a higher resolution as with my current gaming pattern I am guessing that this Ryzen upgrade will be my last upgrade in quite some time to come.

So that's why I want to stick to FHD so that I can occasionally game on my GTX 1070 without sacrificing too much in terms of graphics eye candy 1-2 years down the line
