Good that you have decided to get a new one as if don't you get it repaired from company there is a risk of it getting damaged again

Still not managed to get this sorted. Awaiting quotations from some service guys who have come and seen the TV.
Posting some images of the issue in the meanwhile...
One of the guys told me that sometimes the panel can be repaired instead of replacing it. Waiting to hear from him again.
