5.1 Sound System for PC under 6k ?

Definately if budget goes upto 20k u can take a look at yamaha yht-196 which retails for 20-22k

Guys where to get floor stands for the rear speakers

There's one for 2k @ amazon
But doesn't make sense to get stands worth 2k for speakers costing 4k

you could try wall hooks or temporary/simple shelving.
otherwise you could get the stands made by a carpenter.

which speakers did you get? if not in a rented home, using wall-mounts like those from 'Tono Systems' and concealing the cables using casing-and-capping would make for better looks and handling.

I have a five years old Philips sp100..
Which I have to move from bedroom to hall.. And maybe again to bedroom..
So no 'hole in the wall'
So thinking of floor stands as a temporary solution..

The PVC pipe can be used as the stand.. Any ideas what do I use as a base and how to attach the pipe . should be able to withstand at least 2kg
