Graphic Cards 6600gt vs 7300gt

hv heard loads abt this topic. but unfortunately most of them are ambivalent. so which among this kicks more a** according to u guyz?? also is the pixel shader 3.0 support in 73 a big plus.. n yeah which is a preferred brand palit or forsa??
 
Both cards support SM3.0. But both are low end and even the 6600GT can barely use the feature.

Anyway, I think 7300GT GDDR3 > 6600GT > 7300 DDR2
 
No, 7300GT wont beat a 6600 GT as it has slower core and memory speeds (350/700) vs 500/1000, while having a similar 128 bit bus and 8 pixel pipelines.

Moreover I Don't Think 6600GT is available anymore ( I maybe wrong ) , Its Replaced by its Big Brother 7600GT which can Kick 6600GT's a$$ any time of the Day !

Anyways if u do Find 6600GT then I would suggest to go for that B/w The Two ! Out of Palit and Forsa . Forsa is better ! Although XFX is the Best ! :)
 
I think only the 7300GT DDR2 is available here....i got the BIG 7300GT and it is clocked @ 400/800(core/mem) and i was able to push the card to 580/850 (core/mem) without a problem...

So i think it can compare favourably with a 6600GT....
 
Man , if you can overclok it the ddr2 version then it *may* be able to beat the 6600gt, else no. I have never seen a 7300gt ddr3 here in india...

The 6600gt is still available here in hyd but then you get a get a better 7600 Gs at lesser price ..
 
^^Not by as much you can overclock the 7300 GT :D And the 7300 GT is available for less than 5k to boot. But a 7600 GS wouldnt be a bad choice either at around 6.2-6.5k and it can be overclocked a bit too. It has 12 pipes and beats the 6600 GT as well.
 
Guyz need some help again. As I had said before most things I have heard about these cards have been inconclusive, and so has been the discussion here so far. The duel is updated to the following : an old GDDR3 6600GT vs a new Forsa 7300GT DDR2. There isnt much to choose in terms of prices. So which among the above is your pick.
 
go for the 7300gt ... it overclocks a lot which will help in going past 6600gt numbers in games in which it lacks behind

This shows that a GDDR3 7300GT is about 30% faster than a 6600GT.

It is possible as fast or even faster than a X800GTO or almost as fast as a 6800GT at stock!

I think it maybe available in India, but maybe around 6-7k. That shouldn't be a problem as it should be much better than a 7600GS.

a 6600GT > 7300GT pretty easily....
 
^ No man .. Was just curious on its availability in India...

Its bigger cousin 7600GT is more-so-popular in India ... That's why I was enquiring about the 7300GT.
