Graphic Cards 8500GT vs 4350 performance question

Hi,

I have a Media Centre PC which currently has an MSI 8500GT graphics card fitted like the one at MSI GeForce 8500GT 256MB HDMI Low-Profile Silent PCI-E - Aria Technology. This is fine for the Media Centre purposes but I would like to play games on the same PC and it is a bit challenged in terms of frame rates.

I was considering buying the 4350 card at GV-R485MC-1GI ATI Fanless HD 4850 1GB GDDR3 PCI-E HDMI but before I do I wanted to know if anyone here can tell me what kind of frame rate improvement I am likely to see, if any, over my current card ?

I would be interested to hear about other cards as well but please note that the case requiers a low profile card and because I watch movies in my living room on it I am only willing to consider entirely passively cooled cards. Also, power supply is very limited in this PC.

HD 4350 if U want low profile. Current gen ATI cards consumes very less power.

8500GT should do little better in gaming. I'd suggest none other than Palit HD4670 @ 4k

MSI 4650 @ 3.5k

You can get a passive-cooled 4670 or 9500GT

hey 8500 GT is DDR2 Mate no superfast memory try going for either ATI 4650 or 8600 GT ,GTS, 8800GTS series it rocks
