Eh.. Its good that you bought the P5N32-E SLI, and not the Plus, the Plus is 650i Ultra...

^Got it from the one and only delta peripherals in ritchie street. He's the only distributor for chieftec in tamilnadu.

^I would be that dude.

Omg!! I was standing next to you, you even asked me to move a little so that you can sign and you didn't identify me :O and i thought i was famous :(

^^You looked nothing like your avatar :P Anyways, I have seen your pics here but I really couldn't've identified you in a crowd and I didn't see anyone's face as I was kinda impatient. So there, you can go back to being famous now :D

^^ hehe, anyways why were you keen on getting the 300GB drive?? won't a 320GB be better.

SV35 uses the same perpendicular recording as 7200.10. Infact if you intend to use it as a dump drive, its better than the 7200.10 cos it has higher transfer rates. However latencies are slightly worse than 7200.10 (13ms vs 14.5ms). BTW you'll not get 80GB and 160GB 7200.10 drives cos afaik they don't exist :P. My advice... get either the 7200.10/SV35 320GB instead of 300GB.

Even i was looking for it for one of my friend, even if it exist its no where in stock in ritchie.

320GB 7200.10 was what I asked of him, but he wasn't sure he could get one before this month was over and he only had 320GB pata. So I settled for 300GB and that too he had only one of.
So, hey, you must know some good shops I can try for the hdds in ritchie street. The only other decent shop I know of is Lotus.

320GB was in not stock eh. Try Computer Elements which is opposite to delta. Even i don't have any idea about any other shops other than these two :P . But if its not in stock delta then i doubt it if it'll be available else where or try again in Delta, bug him, use my name hehehe.

Sorry, I didn't notice your reply. Actually, there are 7200.10 80,160 GB hdds(link).
This hdd is for storing my movie and music collection. Actually, I think the ideal hdd here would be the low-powered and silent one. How is the 7200.2 sv35 or hitachi (model?) in this regard.
