For everyone who grew up watching the popular television serial Aahat, it’s time to be scared again. For Aahat will soon be back on the television screens, promising viewers haunted houses, ghost, re-incarnations stories and occurrences by paranormal forces.
Telling us about Aahat, our source reveals, “Unlike the last three seasons, the new season will have three young researchers who are part of an institute on paranormal sciences. As these youngsters delve deeper into the subject, the story will unfold under mysterious circumstances. These three characters will be constant through the season, not just for a few episodes. The new season will be aired from a seemingly appropriate Friday the 13th of this month.â€
BP Singh, the director and the producer confirms the return of Aahat. He further says, “I hope we are able to terrify the viewers. Many horror serials follow a particular format, but we are trying to break away from the regular way of storytelling. We have different subjects through the season, keeping in mind the modern day sensibilities.â€

I absolutely loved this series. Although it was scary, it was still fun watching it. :)

I watched quite a bit of aahat years back. Was one of the better horror shows. Not truly terrifying but reasonably gripping. Good to have it back.

i have very less hope....agreed when sony started in India that aahat was really epic...than they again started it that was epic failure and now again......

I guess I didnt really follow it when it came back last time... It initially came around 1995 if I am right.

it actally wasnt so much terrifying as said above
but few stories were just too creative!
hope they atleast match that, rather than just relying on past success.

Well I used to hide behind the sofa of my living room back when I was a kid and the Zee Horror Show use to come and my elder cousin sister used to watch it.

I never got to watch TV much as a kid, but I still did watch Aahat a few times and it never failed to make me laugh. This was one of the best comedy shows I watched on TV although it was projected as a horror show.

Wait... what do you mean back to scare us? Aahaat was scary? or did I watch something else entirely? Cause the one that I used to see was more of Aa(hahahahaha)hat!. :bleh:
